LEAD PASTOR - Gary and Paula Rogers
Gary came to Chickasha Grand in the fall of 2010. He previously ministered 13 years as Youth Pastor in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and during that time he was also on the Tulsa Fire Department. He came to Grand Assembly from Coweta, Oklahoma where he was pastor for 17 years. His ministry vision focuses on reaching the lost and helping every believer find his or her place in building God's kingdom. Gary loves anything with wheels and a motor, especially sport cars.
Paula was a school teacher for 11 years and continues to love teaching and mentoring youth and adults. She facilitates "Seekers" a small group meeting on Sunday mornings emphasizing discovering God's will for your life. One of her greatest joys is running after their 5 grandsons. Paula enjoys rooting for orange and black basketball. (Go Pokes!!)
MUSIC PASTOR - Danny & Molly Friend
Danny and Molly have been at Grand since 2005. They were married August 3, 1993 and have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Danny was a business owner in commercial and residential construction for 20 years before coming to Grand. From Missouri, he grew up in a family with a long line of Pentecostal preachers where music was an integral part of life. His dad traveled many years playing music (Fiddle), then was called to plant and build a church in 1974. Yes he's a PK! At 14 Danny traveled the summer with the National Teen Talent ensemble touring many states throughout the U.S. He also recorded an album with his dad and brother to help fund the construction of Souls Harbor Church in Houston, Missouri. As a "sinner saved by grace" it is worship and a passion to share the gospel that drives him.
Molly, growing up in chickasha has owned Friendly Travel for the past 20 years. She is active in the Women`s ministry, and Worship team. A Spirit filled catholic makes a great disciple for Christ and Molly proves this with her loving and caring heart!
Adventure has always been a vital part of their lives with hobbies including Traveling to many countries,Scuba Diving, Fishing and Hunting. Our life in Christ is the greatest of all adventures!
YOUTH PASTOR - Tony and Chelsey Nochim and Zion
Tony and Chelsey came to Grand in October 2016. They met at the Atlanta Dream Center where Tony was the Homeless Outreach Coordinator and Chelsey attended the School of Ministry. They were married once and forevermore on August 8, 2015 and shortly thereafter Tony took a Youth Pastor position in Marietta, GA. They had a honeymoon baby, their beautiful baby girl, Zion Bella, on April 30, 2016 at 6:32am.
Tony's passion is to lift up Jesus Christ through God's Word and allow the Holy Spirit to illuminate who He truly is in all of His glory. He enjoys couch cuddling with his wife, playing with Zion and throwing the ball to their puppy, Giovannai, along with watching the Mizzou Tigers play, where he graduated in 2014.
Chelsey grew up in a rural town of Indiana, moving to Atlanta after graduating high school. While attending the School of Ministry for two years, she encountered Jesus and her life has never been the same. She leads youth worship on Wednesday nights and isn't ashamed to praise the Lord. She loves spending time with Zion, cooking and watching movies with her husband. They both love dates to Dunkin' Donuts for coffee!
CHILDREN’S PASTOR - Jennifer Manuel
Jennifer has been at Grand since 2011. She has been involved in children's ministry since the age of 11. Her parents are pastors, and she loved helping them with kids' crusades and children's church. Jennifer went on to teach Sunday School, volunteer in Children's Church, and assist with special outreaches while attending college. Jennifer graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education. Her degree, partnered with a passion to reach kids for God, creates a dynamic teaching experience that allows kids to grow as they learn about the wonders of the Bible.
Jennifer is know as a "kid magnet." She enjoys attending the kids' birthday parties, sporting events, dance competitions, outings to the park, and anything else that excites her students. Jennifer is a Netflix loving girl and also has quite the movie collection. She unwinds by curling up on the couch with a blanket, hot chocolate, and a favorite show. She also loves being outside, hiking, walking, reading, and just enjoying God's creation.
PASTOR'S SECRETARY -Melanie McKinley and husband Alan
The McKinley family came to Grand Assembly in the fall of 2011. They have been married for over 20 years and have 3 children and one daughter in love. Together the couple leads marriage and family ministries at Grand and as a family and join in on outreach events.
Melanie has been a Christian counselor for over 18 years and recently received her ministerial certification. She enjoys writing on her blog, Meet the McKinleys. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and is a human slave to two dogs, one cranky old cat, and a hedgehog named Herman. Utilizing the word of God, she seeks to equip, encourage, support, and provide enrichment resources for families to build a strong foundation of hope and healing. By sharing her writings, videos, and postings, she wants you to see how your family can be taken from ordinary to extraordinary through the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Alan has held various positions within the production chemical side of the Oil & Gas industry for over 24 years. He recently opened Battlefield Arms, LLC, a gun and ammo supply store in Chickasha. In his free time he enjoys motorcycles, 4 wheelers, and classic cars as well as fishing and shooting his extensive collection of guns.
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING -Kristy Fitzgerald & husband, Darwin
Kristy joined the Grand Assembly team summer of 2013. Previously Kristy served 15 years as Worship and Choir director in Choctaw and the Oklahoma City area. She has taught Bible studies and Sunday School, as well as volunteered with Teen Challenge. Kristy also spent 10 years as a Piano teacher at her private studio. Her passion is to be a light in a dark world wherever she may go.
She along with her husband, Darwin moved to the Chickasha area in May of 2013. Darwin is a retired Federal Employee and is now an independent consultant. Together they have 4 children and 7 grandchildren. Kristy loves to garden, cook, write, and spend time with her family.
